Traditional Chinese tea was served and Chinese calligraphy was displayed by the Confucius Institute at Yeditepe University during the Chinese Culture Week celebrations. Students and faculty at Yeditepe University attended the event.
Ms. Xiaofeng Ma from the Confucius Institute at Okan University introduced Chinese calligraphy and staged a show. Students who participated in the calligraphy classes offered by our university in the academic year 2018-2019 displayed their talents. The audience too found the opportunity to practice calligraphy through Chinese characters and paintings.
During the same event, Ms. Xiaoyi Zhang who currently teaches Chinese language classes at Yeditepe University presented the details on the preparation and the serving of traditional Chinese tea.
