The 17th Chinese Bridge Chinese Language Proficiency Competition was hosted by the Confucius Institute at Yeditepe University on April 27-28, 2018. A total of 50 contestants from 13 universities in Turkey took part in the competition. The participants staged various skills they had acquired over the years on Chinese language, culture, arts, and sports. The event gave the Confucius Institute at Yeditepe University the opportunity to experience the strong support of the Embassy and the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China. Additionally, ties were strengthened with universities all across Turkey and the Chinese enterprises operating in Turkey.
