International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Online Course Project Application Guideline
To fight against COVID-19 and provide more learning opportunities to Chinese learners worldwide, Center for Language Education and Cooperation is planning to support Nankai University to launch online Chinese training projects. NKU is now offering online Chinese language study program.
Application Requirements
- Non-Chinese Citizens.
- 16-35 years old (by March 1st, 2021). Applicants who are currently working as Chinese language teachers shall not exceed the age limit of 45.
Scholarship Types and Requirements
1 year(11months):
Courses:
International Education of Chinese Language, requirements: Hsk Level 3: 270, and HSKK.
Chinese Language and Literature, requirements: HSK Level 4:180, HSKK intermediate Level 60.
Chinese Learning: HSK Level 3:210
1 semester(5months):
International Education of Chinese Language, requirements: Hsk Level 3: 180, and HSKK.
Chinese Language and Literature, requirements: Hsk Level 3: 180, and HSKK.
Scholarship Coverage：Tuition
Period of Study
March 1st, 2021-June 30th, 2021 or
March 1st, 2021-January 31st, 2022

Sign up for the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Application System:
http://cis.chinese.cn/account/login or you may click "read more" at the bottom to visit the system. - Fill out the form. As for the type of scholarship, please select as “One Semester Student (Online Course)” or “One Academic Year Student (Online Course)”. In addition, please choose your study period accordingly. The host institution should be selected as Nankai University.
- Click “Submit” after filling and uploading all required files.
- Keep tracking your application status.
Notice
False, incomplete or unqualified application files will not be accepted. If you are approved but cannot register accordingly, please submit a written report to our college explaining the reasons at least 15 days before registration. As for those who fail to register without any reasons, their eligibilities will be cancelled.
