Nankai University Jointly Established Confucius Institute Scholarship in the Fall of 2021
For the purposes of the development of the jointly formed Confucius Institutes of Nankai University and the student exchange among the Confucius Institutes, Nankai University has set up special scholarships to support the students from the co-constructed Confucius Institute to study Chinese language at Nankai University for one semester. Each Confucius Institute can nominate 5 applicants for the Autumn of 2021 .
Ⅰ. ELIGIBILITY
1.Registered students of the Confucius Institute with outstanding performance.
2.Non-Chinese citizens over the age of 18, in good physical and mental condition as well as no criminal record.

Ⅲ. SCHOLARSHIP AND AWARD
Full scholarship: RMB 24,000 per semester. The university will issue scholarship after students register and pay the tuition.

The university provides on-campus accommodation reservations for students, the price of a double room in the international student dormitory: 60 yuan/day/bed, Accommodation and insurance expenses are borne by students.

Ⅷ、APPLICATION PROCESS
1. The Confucius Institute sends a scholarship nomination letter to nankaicis@163.com.
2. The Confucius Institute carries out a preliminary selection of registered students and guides applicants to log in to the Nankai University International Student Online Service System (http://nankai.17gz.org), to complete the information, and upload the required documents.
3. The School of International Education of Nankai University reviews the student materials and inform the Confucius Institute of the results. And the school sends the admission notice and admission documents to the Confucius Institute.
4. Scholarship holders need to confirm with Nankai University that they will follow the procedures for studying in China and register at Nankai University platforms for registered students on the date specified in the admission letter.
