On October 10, 2018, in an event supported and funded by Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban), the Confucius Institute at Yeditepe University hosted the martial arts tour group from Beijing Capital University of Physical Education and Sports. The event drew a large crowd and students surrounded the performers after the event to find out about the details of their training as well as ability to concentrate and display discipline. Local performers of Wushu accompanied the group on the stage and the show additionally had an interactive part during which the students in the hall personally experienced Wushu for the first time.
